Description
A Wusaki Sakin trio for cooking with style and efficiency
This set of 3 Wusaki Sakin knives brings together three essential sizes to equip your kitchen with consistency: a 20cm chef's knife, a 15cm utility knife and a 9cm paring knife. This trio lets you move easily from generous cuts to more precise moves, without changing look or manufacturing quality.
The 20cm chef's knife stands out as the centerpiece of the set. It handles everyday preparations for slicing, mincing, chopping or cutting vegetables, herbs, fish and boneless meat. The 15cm utility knife brings great versatility for intermediate cuts: tomatoes, fruit, small vegetables, cheese or cold cuts. As for the 9cm paring knife, it's perfect for peeling, trimming, detailing or working directly in hand.
Three damascus knives to cover every preparation
The blades feature a core of 10Cr15CoMoV stainless steel, recognized for its good edge retention and resistance to corrosion. With a hardness of around 60 HRC, they keep an effective edge while still being easy to maintain regularly. Their 67-layer damascus construction brings superb wavy patterns, different from blade to blade, and reinforces the set's visual character.
The flat grind promotes a clean, fluid cut, just as pleasant for right-handers as for left-handers. Whether you're preparing a simple meal or a more elaborate recipe, this set gives you the right tools to work with precision.
A refined handle inspired by gold dust
The handles of the Sakin range combine resin, carbon fiber and fragments of gold leaf. This blend gives each knife a unique look, with a play of depth and light that catches the eye right away. The name Sakin, which evokes "gold dust", makes perfect sense here.
The resin also provides good stability against moisture and a comfortable grip. The stainless steel rivets ensure a solid assembly, while the brass mosaic rivet adds a refined decorative touch. The bolster and the butt, both in stainless steel, contribute to the overall balance of the knives, for a stable, pleasant feel during cutting.
Wusaki quality in a complete set
Wusaki knives are made by a small workshop located north of Canton, in China's Guangdong province. This region has a long tradition in crafting knives and cutting tools. Production relies on well-mastered methods and a rigorous selection of materials.
Wusaki's expertise is guided by French manufacturing standards designed for professionals in the industry. This approach makes it possible to offer reliable, well-assembled knives suited to regular use. Each model aims for the right balance between cutting performance, comfort and durability.
To preserve your Wusaki kitchen knives, forget the dishwasher. Wash them by hand with a soft sponge and a mild soap, then dry the blades carefully after each use to keep their edge and good looks for longer.

Quality and style with every cut
Care & sharpening
Care & sharpening
Use
- Cut with a straight, linear motion. Twisting motions damage the cutting edge and can break the blade.
- Use a wooden cutting board. Glass or marble dull the cutting edge over time.
Cleaning
- Wash by hand with a soft sponge and mild soap, then rinse with lukewarm water. Abrasive surfaces are not suitable for the steel.
- Oil the blade from time to time with a neutral mineral oil to protect it.
Sharpening
- Don't wait until the blade is completely dull: regular maintenance on a 1000-grit whetstone keeps an excellent cutting edge without removing too much material.
- Match the whetstone's grit to the condition of the blade — coarse grit to restore a very dull edge, fine grit to polish.
