The 20cm blade is made of a German stainless steel that is chiefly utilized in premium-quality kitchen devices. It has a hardness level of 56/58 HRC in the Rockwell scale. The blade enjoys a V-shaped edge with a total angle of 30°, which makes every slice clean and precise for any type of food.
The Wusaki Hayato chef knife's is made of X50CrMoV15 steel. This German steel comprises 15% of chromium which improves its corrosion resistance. Furthermore, the blade has a hammered finish that helps to reduce the blade's stickiness. This feature is particularly useful when cutting wet items such as raw fish or vegetables. The handle is fitted with a high-quality G10 material, which is an impervious fiberglass resin free from cold, heat and wet effects. Please note that the G10 fiberglass laminate is the result of a layer compressing process that can produce minor color variations from one piece to another. However, it has absolutely no impact on the material's quality.
