The Wusaki Fujiko VG10 peeling knife is a tool of excellent quality and a superb look. Despite its small size, this knife offers numerous qualities such a great cutting performance, an ergonomic design, and a long lifespan. Its dazzling look immediately captures your eyes' attention thanks to its originality, elegance, and top-notch finishes.

Long-term sharpness guaranteed

Just like every Fujiko knife, the blade of this knife has a core made of Japanese VG10 steel. This type of steel allows the blade to keep its sharp edge 2 to 3 times longer than a standard European knife. This is thanks to its high carbon content of 1%, which enables the blade to be harder than most blades out there in the market. In addition, the V-shaped edge of this blade was manually sharpened on a leather band. You'll be witness of its outstanding sharpness since the very first cut!

Elegant handle

Every knife from the Fujiko series has a handle made of olive wood. This type of wood with a light colour is renowned for its robustness and its very pleasant smell. As it is a completely natural material, the veinings are different on each single handle. Furthermore, the shape of the handle enables a pleasant grip, and its bolster with a smooth surface lets you hold the knife closer to the blade, and thus giving you better control during your cuts.

A knife like you've never seen before

The VG10 steel core of the blade is covered by 67 layers of damascus steel, which create unique patterns on every single knife.
Thanks to the perfect contrast between the damascus blade and the wooden handle, the overall look of the knife is simply breathtaking.
Finally, the Japanese kanji engraved on the steel bottom of the handle gives the knife an aesthetic final touch of elegance and originality.
