With a core made of Japanese VG10 steel, the blades of these knives remain sharp 2 to 3 times longer than kitchen knives with European steel. Each blade is sharpened manually on a leather band to give it an ultra sharp V-shaped edge that cuts with great precision since the very first usage. The steel has a hardness level of 60 HRC thanks to its 1% of carbon content. Thus, this steel is considerably harder than the one in most premium Western kitchen knives. We chose this steel for these knives because of its impressive quality and durability.
These kitchen knives have handles made of ebony wood that has been sanded. It must be noted that the veinings on the surface are unique to every single knife. The ebony wood is a robust material that feels good in the hand. It has been given an original octagonal shape that adapts perfectly to both left and right handed cooks, and thus ensures a comfortable grip.
Each blade has 67 layers of damascus steel that create original wavy lines on the blade's surface and also provide an optimal balance between rigidity and flexibility.

Hand wash is recommended. After wash, dry each knife with a soft cloth to prevent humidity traces appearing on the steel. Avoid as much as possible to wet the handles, even when washing the knives.
